Our story is short and sweeteezy. We’ve been around the hustle and bustle of celebrity circles, and it’s been strange, because we’ve only touched the ground once. Our human leaves us in the box and really doesn’t seem to notice us normally, but at least we have each other. Good thing we both like red nylon, because there’s not much else in our world. So the night we got out, we were running around and bouncing on a stage with Mr. Kanye West. It was fun honestly, with all the music and attention and we felt right at home with all the other red materials… It’s not much really, but it’s all we have. Hopefully we’ll get another chance to break out and move some more soon! Here’s a pic of us dancing our human. Join our group… we’ll try to have our people talk to yours — maybe we could tour together.

Back in 2007, I was born as 1 of 1200 with the same dna. We cane out in different sizes somehow, but we looked the same. They said we were of the “Materials of the World” litter, but from the Japanese region. Pretty nice way to start it seems. I don’t really remember. I actually don’t even really remember my first owner, but I couldn’t forget my current one. Apparently he made great efforts to find me, using this Internet that we’re all enjoying now, through a portal called Ebay. It’s beyond me. What I recall though is the amazing journey from the UK to the USA. There was some mixup with the shipping costs, so Ben (my current human) requested that I be shipped with a crisp Cadbury bar. The shipper complied, and I made the transatlantic journey with the delicious aroma of chocolate. Ahhh… Ever since, it’s been closet, streets, and feet, but I’m still grateful.

Here’s a shot of the new gear I’ve been carrying lately. These two modules help keep bits in ordered and accessible… you know, like my wherabouts and “age.” The green piece triangulates my geographic location when I want. It even talks with blue teeth, or actually, it’s pretty young so might just have one bluetooth. Anyway, I stash it right under my tongue. The red node fits snuggly into my sole, and knows about each step I take. It’s sorta like having a big brother around, but it lets me know I’m making the most of my days.

Earlier this Winter/Spring, I got outfitted with some new electronic equipment, which was great since it’d been awhile since me and Atari chilled. This new piece was something about GSP or PSG, no no… I think it was GPS, yea. That was it. It let’s me track where I’ve been so I know where I’ve been at different times. Since I can mark that out that info on a map and can interact with my fellow sneaker folks here in Gumshuland, maybe I’ll be able to coordinate some “meetups” now, or at least be able to guess where the others will be on the weekends. Who knows. I actually tried the other day when I took my human (Ben) for a walk. He invited his girl along, which was cool, ’cause I like to stroll with Pinkster (her Airmax 90s) anyway. Check out our path here.
